This engineered oak base rail is designed for use with glass brackets and clamps in modern stair and balustrade systems. At 58mm x 28mm x 4200mm, it gives you a clean, minimal foundation without sacrificing the look and warmth of real oak.
Built on a glue-laminated engineered oak core with a solid real oak outer face bonded and machined to length, this rail offers excellent dimensional stability and reduced risk of twisting, splitting, or cracking. The solid outer layer is substantially thicker than a veneer, so it can be sanded and refinished over time without wearing through to the core. As with all engineered oak, a fine joint line will be visible where the outer faces meet.
